Dr. Jean Quaintance grew up in North Salem, New York. She is a lifelong animal lover, who has ridden horses since she was 7 years old and is an accomplished rider. She worked at Foxhound Kennels from age 9 until she was 19 years old. She graduated from Wooster School in Danbury, Connecticut. Dr. Jean Quaintance always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian and pursued her goals after working off and on at Mill Plain Veterinary Clinic as a vet technician for approximately 12 years. She graduated from Colorado State University prior to graduating veterinarian college at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Jean Quaintance has cheerfully greeted clients for years and has saved countless animals with her quick thinking and experience as well as providing routine care. She currently has 5 dogs of her own, one of which is 14 years old that she rescued from the side of the road when he was 6 weeks old.
