I wanted to send a few pictures of a very happy and spoiled
Sadie, aka Alfie. She is adapting very well to her new
surroundings and finally showing her playful disposition. As you
can see from the pictures, she is still not quite sure about her
new very large family friends, keeping her distance just
close enough to nuzzle a little, however she seems to gain a
little more confidence everyday. She definately has a mind of
her own showing some mischief behavior at times, but we
are slowly working with her as she adjusts. She is very
smart so I'm sure she will learn quickly. We truly love Sadie and
thank you "Rescue For Love" for your dedication in
saving these precious homeless animals.

We adopted "Rookie" through Rescue for Love at a
Hudson Valley Renegades game in July 2009. Rookie has been the
best little dog and so glad he is a part of our family. He has
adjusted so well to our home. He loves to play and is very
affectionate. He gets along very well with his older brother,
Skippy, a 12-year-old Boston. Rookie goes to work every
day with his mom, who works for a church. Dad takes him
for long walks every day which he loves. We thank Rob and
Kristi for all their work that they do in helping to save
all the dogs that they rescue. Also thanks to Rookie's foster
mom Marie. ~ Hazel & Glen Gregson, Poughkeepsie, NY

We want you to know how excited we are with the adoption of our new dog CoCo. My partner and I where really down with the loss of two very good friends to cancer. We decided it was time to bring another dog into our lives. We felt it was important to adopt through a rescue and the search began. Oh my God, I was overwhelmed by the amount of pets needing good homes. Low and behold,
CoCo's profile came up, a little black dog with a personality that would immediately lighten up our hearts. I can't begin to tell you how she has changed our lives. We feel CoCo has helped us heal through some pretty tough times. Her energy, spirit, and love for us is unconditional. We want to thank CoCo's foster Mom, "Cindy" and
Kristi for making this happen, without people like you these dogs would never find
their forever homes.
CoCo is loving life, long walks, runs, and even loves to kayak. She is the best gift one could ever ask for.

Just wanted to give you an update on Honey-she is about the best dog we could ask
for! Our family and neighbors just love her! We have a stocking for her filled with treats and a new "baby" for her (her old baby is getting a little ripped
up!) She greets us every morning with Honey Kisses! She is very patient waiting for Momma to get dressed for her walk.
She likes to take things, not chew just take them and put them in different parts of the
house! She loves her bones, pig ears and Bully sticks-I love chasing her around trying to get it back-she is just too fast for
me! She is really in love with Kevin and he with her! Thank you Rescue for Love for giving us such a wonderful new member of our family, we just love her so, we couldn't imagine our lives without
her! I am enclosing a picture of her which I love and put on our Amex Holiday Gift Cards for all to enjoy!!

Kristi,
this has been the best! We can't thank you enough or tell you how happy we have been with the beautiful puppy we adopted on November
1st. It was a match made in heaven and our "ZIVA"- aka Starlet, then Dolly, now Ziva, named after the family's favorite NCIS character, has brought us more joy than you can imagine. She is so well behaved and affectionate, and she has had so many compliments. Everyone loves her! She is truly "family". The adjustment to her new home and family was immediate. Thanks to you and RESCUE FOR LOVE for giving us the best of all possible gifts....EVER!

We adopted Cowgirl last month and decided we liked the name Nikki better. She is doing good. We have a lot of land that she runs on and also have a dog for her to play with. The two kids love having her. She is so sweet and loves to cuddle. She sleeps with the children and snuggles with them. She is a bit of a devil, but she is learning. We are so thankful to everyone at Rescue for Love. She is a great dog and we couldn't imagine life without her.

We hit the lotto with 'Cash'. He is a black mix from TN. We decided not to change his name. He seemed to respond to it, and when people ask, it's a great way to tell his story and the great work of your organization. We couldn't have asked for a better dog. This happy, guy fits right in with our family. He loves to play fetch and is great with my 2 young boys. While we adopted this southern born canine from you in
August, it took hardly any time at all for him to grow to love the snow!

Rescue For Love was able to find us the perfect addition to our family through Kristi's deep dedication. Eva joined our family a little over a year and a half ago and recently celebrated her 2nd birthday. She is such a sweet happy girl and we love her so much (even though she has eaten a few of mommy's favorite shoes)! She loves to play with her older sister, Lucy; she enjoys stealing her bones, sitting on top of her head and taking naps together. She's the sweetheart of our family!
